We will start our Scouting for Food campaign on Sat, May 4th and it will run through Sat, May 25th. We would like your help in reaching out to your neighbors, family, and friends to help our Food Banks by making a deposit of at least one bag of non-perishable food items and new this year, the Western Colorado Council has partnered with Causes International, you can also help our Environment by donating at least one used laptop, smartphone, tablet, iPhone, iPad, or iPod.

For over 100 years the Boy Scouts of America have been participating in environmental service projects to help create a cleaner and more environmentally friendly planet.  We also follow the Leave No Trace commitment to leave an area exactly the same as we found it, if not better than when we arrived.

Following in the long tradition of our forefathers and past Scout leaders, we have found a wonderful way for our Scouts and their families to be part of our green initiative with an Upcycle campaign. What is Upcycling? Upcycling is giving outdated electronics a second life and keeping the devices out of landfills, while creating funds for our Scouts and the many activities they do such as summer camp.
