Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook:
As of May 2014 the BSA National Advancement Committee has released a revised and updated Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook.
It is accessed by clicking on 'Eagle Application and Project Workbook' in the upper left side of this page.
Be sure you are using the most current forms etc, for your Eagle Project.
Help us get the word out about the revised workbook by telling the other members of your unit!
Lowe's Impact Grant Discover Card:
UPDATE July, 2013 - Lowe's Home Improvement Stores offers the Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation Eagle Scout service project grant program for 2013-2014. Through the Lowe's Foundation effort, approximately 3,600 Eagle Scout candidates nationwide will each receive $100.00 grants in the form of Discover gift cards funded by the Lowe's foundation. Eagle Scout candidates will need to contact our designated Lowe's Grant Volunteer, Louis Brackett, at 970 640-7971 or email email@example.com, to request an application and additional information on applying for this grant.
Eagle Service Project Opportunities:
October 2015 - Sherry Verdieck of Homeward Bound (970-256-9424 x4) is looking for someone to organize the collection of partially used shampoo/conditioner bottles from hotels, beauty salons, shopping centers in their local towns. Please call Sherry at the phone number above for more information.
October 2015 - COPMOBA (Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association) has several project prospects for the Three Sisters property off Monument Road in Grand Junction. One project needs a "techy" scout for QR codes and video illustrations. Other project needs are building benches, interpretive signs, shade structures. Please contact Chris Muhr, 970-243-6310.
October 2015 - USDA Forest Service, White River National Forest, Rifle District, Cayton Historic Ranger Station, West Divide Creek, South of Silt, this site was recently restored by the Cayton Ranger Station Foundation and it still needs some work ideal for older Boy Scouts. If a scout is looking for a Eagle Scout Project, there is a very good chance they have some options for you. This site is also available to Boy Scout Troops for campouts.
