Service Project Opportunities:

Open, USDA Forest Service, White River National Forest, Rifle District, Cayton Historic Ranger Station, West Divide Creek, South of Silt, this site was recently restored by the Cayton Ranger Station Foundation and it still needs some work ideal for older Boy Scouts. If a scout is looking for a Eagle Scout Project, there is a very good chance they have some options for you.  This site is also available to Boy Scout Troops for campouts.  Please contact Jason Pooler, 970 625-6848 for complete details. www.caytonrangerstation.org/

 

Scouting For Food, May 4th to May 18th, Council wide food drive. Over the last 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America have repeatedly demonstrated their loyalty, helpfulness and commitment to this nation. Whether collecting scrap metal, selling War Bonds or collecting newspapers, Boy Scouts have always excelled. Once again the Boy Scouts have been asked to demonstrate their Commitment to America and its people by collecting food for the needy from May 4th – May 25th. Click HERE for more information and a fillable, printable flyer.

 

Saturday, May 4th, Wildfire Preparedness Day, commit a couple of hours or an entire day, and see how your actions help reduce the community's wildfire risk.
