If you would like to volunteer to become a Merit Badge Counselor for the Western Colorado Council you will need to do two things. First complete the BSA Adult Application and second complete a Merit Badge Counselor Information Sheet (see attachments below). Mail or bring your applications to the Scout Service Center, 839 Grand Ave, Grand Junction CO 81501-3424. There is no registration fee for Merit Badge Counselors.

NOTE TO ALL CURRENT MERIT BADGE COUNSELORS: Your position as a Merit Badge Counselor expires each year on June 30th. Renewal notices are mailed out at the end of May each year. You MUST respond to the renewal notices to continue your registration as a Merit Badge Counselor. You can respond two ways; complete and mail the renewal notice back to us or email your response to
